The Lord says there should be a stronger establishment of theological leadership in churches. The sound teaching of scriptures will be necessary for the next season as families will look to the church on how they should function within their families. More than one generation of a family will need to live in the same home to ensure that the family remains structurally sound.

Churches Full

Empty seats were seen in churches; although the preaching is quite good, churches are not in touch with the youth of Britain. The manner of speaking will change from formal English to plain language to bring encouragement and hope. God is restoring the youth, young adults and younger families to the church. Churches and cathedrals were seen filling up to the brim and extra chairs brought in to provide seating.

Cross-pollination

Cross-pollination of churches and ministries in Europe will propel the gospel into areas of the UK that were previously closed. A dynamic minister for the younger generation will ignite a passion for kingdom values, which will spread like wildfire.

Depression

The one thing that the church must prepare for is dealing with an increase in depression and suicide.

Family and church

God is bringing greater boldness into the Body of Christ. The soft-spoken voice of the British church will become louder. Political correctness will not silence it anymore. Despite backlash and persecution because of this, the Christian voices will not capitulate.

The Body of Christ in England will set strong boundaries regarding their faith and what the scripture of God teaches. In a world of instability, this stance will give the people a stable and safe haven.

Although social media will vilify and try to create a negative image of Christianity, the attitude of those vilified will be that of love and compassion. Many will join the church because of it.

There is a great attack on the identity of children and the youth, with a specific emphasis on the issue of gender. To counter this, God is raising a young couple who has a heart of worship. They write excellent songs, birthed from heaven, and their music is ministering to the young people, drawing the hearts of the youth back to God

The importance of family relations has become evident during lockdown. The disregard for the core family structure will change. Many single parents will seek out greater connection and support. Protective nurturing groups, facilitating family, will become important. The church has a big role to play in creating these communities and facilitating the family structure within the population.

Prayer Teams

The church has raised up many prayer teams and this will ease the stress in the homes. Much prayer went out in late 2021 and will continue in 2022. The intercessors are truly hearing what the Lord wants to bring into the nation and sending up much needed prayer for the families.

Pockets of revival

Pockets of revival will be breaking out. Strong moves to the house churches will return. A strong move of the youth will arise with militancy in standing up for the gospel; the Holy Spirit will break out over the youth.

Single-parent homes

Single-parent homes are causing alarm in the church. The English church has a huge love for the family and these single families don’t always feel at home in the church; they feel left out and unwelcome. Families are struggling with each other. The periods of isolation of the COVID-19 season have brought problems in the home to the surface, such as bad financial management, gender-based violence in the home and incest where there was none before.

Worship

The Lord says, “I have a melody in My heart for you.” There is something very special about the worship ministry in the UK. This is the place where new songs will be birthed.
